For a clipper making a loud noise, adjust the small screw only in a clockwise motion (to the right) until the noise stops.
For a clipper that pulls hair, oil and clean blades.
For a clipper that is still noisy after step one, make sure the outlet being used is not shared with a hair dryer. A hair dryer IN USE will affect the voltage needed for the clipper.
Oiling clipper blades will improve cutting performance and increase blade life.
